Highland Park distillery, established in 1937, was initially under the ownership of Highland Distillers. Edrington acquired Highland Distillers in 1999 and continues to manage the distillery today. While the modern Highland Park single malt brand was officially introduced in the 1970s with an 8-year-old age statement, distillery bottlings trace back to the 1950s. Over the years, the brand's appearance has undergone various changes, but its enduring popularity and dedicated following persist. Highland Park remains one of the most iconic and recognizable single malts globally.
